WRONGFUL TERMINATION
Wrongful Termination & Employment Noncompliance
Wrongful termination is not only a private employment dispute — it is often a failure to comply with workplace laws, agency regulations, and public policy protections designed to safeguard employers from unlawful conduct.
Many terminations occur in violation of administrative rules enforced by state and federal agencies, including protections related to discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, medical leave, wage and hour compliance, and procedural due process. In these cases, the issue is not simply whether an employer acted unfairly, but whether the employer failed to follow legally required standards and reporting obligations.
At our office, we approach wrongful termination matters from a non-litigation, administrative compliance perspective. Our work focuses on identifying regulatory violations and assisting individuals in navigating agency-level remedies before, or instead of, court involvement.
Our role is to assist individuals in understanding and asserting their rights within administrative and regulatory systems that exist to enforce employment protections and promote compliance.
WORKPLACE HARASSMENT (Sexual or Otherwise)
Regulatory Compliance
Workplace harassment--sexual or otherwise--is a serious compliance failure that undermines workplace equity and violates established public policy. Many harassment matters escalate unnecessarily due to failures in mandatory reporting, investigation procedures, and corrective action requirements.
The Law and Public Policy Office supports individuals and organizations by focusing on administrative enforcement pathways, including agency complaints, internal compliance reviews, and procedural documentation. We assist non-lawyers in navigating complex reporting systems while ensuring regulatory obligations are properly triggered and observed.
Our approach emphasizes early intervention, regulatory accountability, and compliance-driven resolution, aligning with the intent of employment and civil rights regulations.
WORKPLACE INJURIES
Safety Regulations & Administrative Remedies
Workplace injuries are often indicators of regulatory noncompliance involving safety standards, reporting failures, or employer oversight obligations. Administrative remedies and enforcement mechanisms exist specifically to address these issues outside of litigation.
The Law and Public Policy Office assists with workplace injury documentation, safety related compliance reporting, and administrative enforcement processes. We help insure injuries are addressed within the framework of occupational safety regulations and public policy mandates.
By focusing on regulatory enforcement and compliance correction, many workplace injury disputes can be resolved efficiently while reinforcing safer workplace practices.
